From a table top shoot in our lounge to featuring in an award winning documentary at Cannes.

Sometimes we make things just for us. We shot this whole piece on an iPhone, using macro lenses and practical effects. We love exploring techniques that bypass the need for VFX, so for this one it was just rocks, books, light, movement and a lot of editing and immersive sound design.
Outcome
The content caught some attention online and was later used as an intro sequence in Eyeforce’s documentary Out of Mined, exploring the impact of mining on South Africa’s West Coast. It made its way onto cinema screens and, from there, went on to win at the Cannes Film Festival.
